A large mooring to get access to the seawater canals
A 12,5 meter bank, on the first canal after the harbour, where you could easily jump on your motorboat, and join the sea (you can easily rent a boat if needed),

The house is situated at Empuriabrava, a kind of water paradise on Earth called "the Mediterranean perl", also known as the "Spanish Venice". Empuriabrava is the greatest marina in Europe with over 5000 mooring points, close to 36km of canals and two huge beaches of golden sand. The house is served by the first canal (less than 10 minutes from the sea by boat) and is only 500m away from beaches (5 minutes walk).
The site benefits of a true micro-climate with important sunshine and an exceptional sky clearness, due to Pyrenean altitude winds which litteraly clean up the clouds.
What's more, Ampuriabrava, downwind of sea storms within the Gulf of Rosas, is barely 4 miles from the spectacular sites of the Cap de CreusNatural Reserve, one of the most beautiful protected coastal regions of the Costa Brava and Spain. It is forming a very broken coastline with its high cliffs, wind-beaten islands and eroded rock reefs, beautiful panorama, hidden coves with transparent water that can only be accessed by sea.
At the south of the Gulf of Rosas, there are also the MedasIslands, considered to be a place of extraordinary biological and ecological value because of the large variety of species and surroundings that are of scientific interest. Sea beds are strictly preserved, a true paradise for divers swimming amongst groupers and other fishes.
Empuriabrava (or Ampuriabrava) is both a quiet and dynamic seaside city. Activities are plentiful: many sea sports, a famous sky diving center, kite surfing spots, aquatic park Aquabrava including a giant maze, bowling, golf, mini-golfs, horse riding, karting, tennis, restaurants, lively places and no less that 6 nightclubs, including El Pacha and La Passarel.la. Roses is only a short drive away with its small typical alleys full of lively restaurants at night. Though, Empuriabrava is still a magic place where you can really take your time and enjoy your holidays, without the stress of overcrowded tourist cities, without the traffic jams to get to the sea and with no known parking difficulties...
Places of cultural interest are also numerous. We would particularly advice you to visit the museum of Salvador Dali in Figueres ; theSan Pere de RodesMonastery, a stunning eagle nest with a breathtaking view on the Pyrenees and the sea ; Cadaqués, charming fisherman's village inspiring Dali and other famous painters ; theEmpuries Ruins, landing point of the Greek civilisation when they arrived on the Iberian Peninsula more than 2,500 years ago, or also medieval towns of Castello d'Empuriés and Peralada. Finally Empuriabrava is surrounded by two natural reserves (Aiguamolls), i.e. 4,000 hectares of wetland, to be visited by feet or bike in order to discover very uniques flora and fauna. This spot is in particular a vast sanctuary for various migratory birds (330 species) such as storks who nest there during the course of the seasons. Winter itself has its own appeal, with the sun being always present and ski resorts in little more than on hour drive, including Valter 2000, La Molina and Masella.
Gerona Airport (Girona) (GRO) is only at 60km. It is well served several times per day by low cost airlines (Ryanair and Transavia) from several destinations in Europe. Bus transfer is provided from Gerona Airport 3 times a day. Taxi and rental vehicules are also available.

Your reservation is to be made by e-mail and will be confirmed within 48h by the landowner through e-mail, along with the rental contract project. A down-payment of 30% of the total amount should be delivered to us within 10 days after the day of booking. Rental contract is to be considered as closed upon receipt of the down payment. In the instance the payment is not sent within the 10 day period, the reservation would simply be canceled. The remaining amount is due no later than 4 weeks before the date of the stay. In the case of late reservations, booked less than 29 days before the beginning of the stay, the invoice is due completely on the day of the reservation. The confirmation of the contract is therefore subject to the full payment reception. In the instance of no payment of the remaining amount or of the full amount in case of late reservations, the landowner shall consider himself as discharged of any commitment and will not have to reimburse any paid amount. The landowner is not commited to fullfilling any special requests unless he has explicitly confirmed his acceptation in writting. Pricelist on the website is subject to modification without notice, although prices are firm and definitive as long as they are on the rental contract.
A voucher will be sent to you upon receipt of the full rental payment before the begining of the stay. Its describes all useful information to get to the welcome point and should be presented to the person in charge of welcoming you. An arrival inventory as well as a departure inventory will be established on site and signed jointly by the tenant and the landowner or his delegate. A deposit will be asked to the tenant in the form of a cheque of 1,000€ which will not be brought to the bank by the landowner. In addition to rental fees, the tenant will have to pay 135€ in cleaning fees, and is subject to repairment or replacement fees for broken or missing equipments when comparing the two inventories. The tenant is also required to pay 50€ per week for electricity consumed above 250kWh. Upon payment of these fees, the deposit is restituted completely to the tenant.
Finally, a guest book describes the instructions for all equipement in the house and suggests activities and main sites to visit.
